Biography

Brenda is a senior partner in the firm. Ranked as a Band 1 Lawyer with Global Ranking Chambers and Partners for General Business Law in Saint Lucia, she is highly regarded in the industry and is described by a Chambers and Partners’ source in 2020 as “one of the most thorough attorneys I can think of – you can stand up and rely on the work from her.” and is praised as “always professional and very responsive” in her dealings with clients.

With over thirty years of legal experience, Brenda has amassed a wealth of experience in all areas of practice. She currently oversees the Property department of the firm.

She was one of the longest serving directors of 1st National Bank St. Lucia Limited (the largest local indigenous bank) from 1993 to 2020 and is an Accredited Director duly credited by The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada. She is the honorary counsel for the Republic of Chile.

Brenda is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Intellectual Property Caribbean Association (IPCA).

Brenda is fluent in French.
